Dr Megan May

osteopath & director

Megan is a passionate osteopath who has completed further study in a variety of areas including pregnancy, women’s pelvic health, breastfeeding, paediatrics and sports injuries. This means that she is comfortable using a wide variety of techniques to suit your individual needs and preferences that may range from massage, manipulation, dry needling and taping all the way through to the gentlest of techniques for newborn babies. Megan enjoys treating neck and back pain across all age groups.

Megan enjoys getting to know her patients and what makes them tick in order to adapt her treatment and advice to the individual. Her thorough knowledge on the musculoskeletal issues that may arise for mothers and babies during childbearing years includes pain during pregnancy, pelvic floor complaints and breastfeeding difficulties like mastitis; and flat or misshapen heads (plagiocephaly) in babies, are areas of particular interest. Megan is passionate about integrating the treatment of women’s health complaints (like incontinence, prolapse and painful sex), with the rest of your body and lifestyle.

In her spare time, Megan is generally running around with her two small kids and escaping to Wye River on weekends.

Megan is a titled osteopath, recognised by Osteopathy Australia as an Advanced Paediatric Osteopath and has been trained by the Osteopathic Pelvic Health Institute in internal pelvic floor assessment.
