Pilates with us
what is Pilates?
Pilates is a wonderful way to move your whole body in a mindful way. Joseph Pilates developed this practise after WW1, inventing the equipment which the exercises are performed on today. The key principles are Concentration, Centering, Control, Breath, Precision and Flow. Through regular practise of Pilates you can improve flexibility, build strength and develop control and endurance for your entire body. There are a number of different pieces of equipment used in Pilates and our beautiful, light-filled OASIS studio has many you can utilise: reformer, cadillac or trap table, ladder barrel, wunda chair and other small equipment.
We believe that you have a greater opportunity for the best health outcomes if the communication between your teachers/instructors and your treating therapist is made easy and all under one roof. So we created it! Enjoy the fun and social connection from group classes, while benefiting from your instructor understanding what your body needs. With direct communication between your practitioner and your instructor, you can relax knowing you are in good hands. We have a large number of classes available during the week.
