Dr Ginger Short

osteopath

Allied health was always the field Ginger wanted to be in and to call herself an osteopath is something she is very proud of. After many years of practice, she still love seeing patients’ spirits lift after their osteopathic treatment; standing prouder, smile bigger and walking stronger. Ginger finds this incredibly rewarding, and the gratitude received is wonderful. Ginger loves the daily challenges working as an osteopath involved with the wide range of people and their individual presentations.  Whether it be a pregnant woman with pelvic girdle pain, a newborn with a head-turning preference, a woman with bladder urgency or a tradie having sleepless nights due to their low back pain, she endeavours to help.

She has attended several post-graduate courses over the years to deepen her skills and knowledge in areas of interest including pregnancy, women’s pelvic health and infants.

Outside of work Ginger loves a weekend getaway or returning to the fresh country air which she grew up to spend quality time with her family. Remaining fit, healthy and active is important to her, especially now having to chase after two young children. She also particularly enjoys playing netball on a weekend for the social, mental and physical benefits.
